1. You get the feel good chemicals going
When you exercise, our body increases its endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline and endocannabinoid. These are all brain chemicals associated with feeling happy, feeling confident, feeling capable, feeling less anxiety and stress. Getting all of these chemicals flowing in our body first thing int the morning is the most amazing way to start the day. This feeling of confidence will carry you through your day making you more productive and positive while taking on life's challenges.
2. You are more focused
Morning exercise has also been found to increase cognitive abilities. The same way a cup of coffee keeps you alert and focused, morning exercise wakes you up and keeps your mind sharp.
3. No excuses
When we set aside time to workout in the afternoon we have more of a chance of pushing it off or cancelling our original plan. If we wake up early to complete a workout, theres a lot less room for excuses. Waking up early is a quiet, peaceful, and sacred time for just you to do what needs to be done.
4. Start your day with a win
There is absolutely no better feeling than finishing a workout, showering, and knowing you just conquered an amazing task before most people have even woken up. You feel a sense of pride and achievement that uplifts your mood. This shift in mood can be HUGE to your ability to take on the day.
